VERB ("TO BE")

 

A verb can also be a word that shows a state or condition. (I am tired).
Some state verbs are: is, are, am

the verb ("to be") usually follows a noun or pronoun.

Bill is a man.
He is a boy.
Tara is a girl.
Terry and Robert are happy.
A mouse is small.
I am Canadian.
